Kashmera Shah-Krushna patch up on Valentines!

What didn’t happen in Love Lockup, happened at Valentines! Kashmera Shah and Krushna finally realized the futility of their tu-tu-main-main and decided to hug and forgive.

Back to being a couple, their sweet nothings made the right noises too, with them doing a couple shows for Valentines Day.

But even as the couple is getting lovey-dovey once again, a little birdie tells us that Kashmera is preparing to shoot for a super-sexy and outrageous calendar, something as bold as she has never done before, Krushna is dead against the overexposure. Oh God, abhi toh dosti hui hai!

We know you are the daredevil types Kash, but go slow with love. Having said that, we never mind a hot hot calendar anytime (wink).

Rakhi Sawant lambasts Kangna Ranaut!

Rakhi Sawant is furious and fuming over Kangna Ranaut’s comment on the Kangna-Mika kiss ruckus. After Kangna apparently refused to engage in a lip-lock with singer Mika Singh for a film shoot, she went ahead and fired a salvo at the controversy queen.

“I am no Rakhi Sawant to do something like this” (kiss Mika), she is supposed to have said. This has enraged Rakhi, who has shot back, “How dare Kangna do her publicity gimmicks, firing from my shoulder. I have never kissed Mika. He had forcibly planted one on me and the world knows that. If Kangna is so publicity hungry, she should have kissed Mika for the song and become famous. Why resort to talking about Rakhi Sawant to gain mileage.”

Now, now! Knowing Rakhi, its best for Kangna to eat up her words or quickly apologize to her for ‘dragging’ her into the picture, or Rakhi might just road roller Kangna in national media. “With battle lines drawn, a new war seems to have just begun here,” chuckles Rakhi’s publicist Dale Bhagwagar.

Dev Anand rocks Mumbai streets!

Dev Anand has hit the crowded streets of Mumbai like never before!

Through to an exclusive contract with the city’s leading outdoor publicity agency Global Advetisers, huge hoardings of the evergreen actor’s colourised version of the 1961 hit ‘Hum Dono’, have been spread across heavy-traffic spots in the city’s most buzzing areas like Juhu, Andheri, Marine Drive, Peddar Road, Borivali, Sion and Malad.

“It’s a privilege to be associated with a legendary actor like Dev Saab. We are committed to help him repeat the success of the classic film,” said Sanjeev Gupta, MD, Global Advertisers.

Dev Anand is 87 but he doesn’t hide his excitement. He wants audiences to see his charming self 50 years ago and says he will colour more of his black and white films if ‘Hum Dono’ succeeds again.

For the record, this was the last black and white film from his production house Navketan Films and marked his first double role too. Written by his brother Vijay Anand and directed by Amarjeet, ‘Hum Dono’ became the official entry from India to the Berlin Film Festival then.

Apart from Dev Anand’s acting, the film’s music was a rage with scintillating melodies like “Main Zindagi Ka Saath” and “Abhi Na Jao Chod Kar”.

Are Kashmera Shah and Krushna headed for a split?

Rumours are rife that Bollywood firebrand Kashmera Shah is on the verge of a break-up with her longtime boyfriend Krushna (Govinda’s nephew).

This comes as a surprise as the couple was going steady from quite some. In fact, they’d also made big news for their lovey-dovey lip-lock at a party some time ago.

When confronted with the question, the normally bold and fearless Kashmera said, “I’m not sure where our relationship is going. All I can say is, we’ve had great times in the past.”

Now, now! That’s a very subdued reply from a girl who is known to speak her mind. Wonder what’s going wrong between the lovebirds. Let’s just hope they sort out their differences. After all, love is a season always in vogue.

STOP PRESS: Protesters burn Emraam Hashmi’s effigy!

Protesters from a local gymnasium blackened actor Emraan Hashmi’s face on the posters of his latest film ‘Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji’ and burnt his effigy, this week.

A group of gym instructors took the management of the Smruti Cinema in Nagpur city by surprise, when they barged into the theatre premises and began blackening Emraan’s face on the posters of the recently released romantic comedy, directed by the award-winning Madhur Bhandarkar. It took the bystanders and the management a while to realize that they were upset about the portrayal of the actor’s character as a gym instructor in the movie.

“The protesters claimed that Emraan was shown in bad light and that his portions should be deleted,” informed the theatre’s owner Akshaye Rathi, who refused to relent to their demands, even as they resorted to violence, pulling down posters and burning them along with an effigy of Emraan Hashmi.

This fierce form of protest was surprising, as the actor has been popular in the region and many of his films have fared well in central India territories in the recent past. It can be noted that a few months ago, Emraan had enjoyed a massive fan following at the same theatre, when he visited it to promote his movie ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai’.

Neetu Chandra turns biker!

Neetu Chandra never fails to surprise us. This week, she was spotted zip zap zooming on the streets of Lokhandwala on a racer bike.

No, she wasn’t participating in a race! It so happened, Neetu was getting disturbed by lots of noise below her building. So she went down to request some calm and encountered a gang of bikers.

But as she spoke to them, Neetu ended up making friends with the motorcyclists. One of them lent his bike and helmet to her. Phir kya tha! Neetu had them in awe, as she rode just like one of them, zooming with them around the streets that evening.

It was a sight to watch, with gaping bystanders. No one ever knew she could ride and race. “Why should boys have all the fun,” Neetu cheekily quipped as she got off the bike.
